- Developed a Manual on Migrants Welfare Services for the Embassy of Bangladesh.

- Initiated Pre-Budget National Consultation Advocacy for allocating national budget for migrant workers’ welfare and rights.
- Launched a Certificate Course on Climate Change, Displacement, and Migration in collaboration with Dhaka International University.

- Started a campaign on Wage Theft with support from MFA; documented cases via MFA’s online platform.
- Member of the Counter Trafficking in Persons Technical Working Group and the Labour Migration Technical Working Group of the UN Migration Network in Bangladesh.

- Established a Grievance Receiving Center at BMET; appointed a Legal Support Officer.
- Formed Grievance Management Committees (GMCs) for community-based dispute resolution.
- Submitted a Shadow Report to the UN Committee on Migrant Workers (26th Session); delivered an oral statement in Geneva with MFA support.
- Co-chair of Bangladesh Civil Society Coordination Committee (BCSCC) for organizing People’s Global Action (PGA) on Migration, Development and Human Rights.
- Supported organization of GFMD Civil Society Days in Bangladesh.

2015
- Organized the Diplomacy Training Program (DTP) on Migration and Human Rights in Bangladesh with MFA.

2014
- Established Bangladesh Ovibashi Adhiker Forum (BOAF), a national platform of over 110 grassroots organizations and civil society representatives.
- Published the Bangladesh Annual Migration Report.
- Played a key role in forming the Parliamentarian’s Caucus on Migration and Development.
2013
- Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Migration Act 2013 enacted following sustained CSO advocacy, aligned with the UN Convention 1990.
- Became International Steering Committee Member of the Civil Society Mechanism of GFMD.
2012
- Began forming Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), registered as Ovibashi Paribar Kallayan Sromojibi Somobai Somiti Limited.
2011
- Government established the Migrants Welfare Bank (April 20).
- Bangladesh ratified the UN Convention 1990 without reservation (April 21); submitted to the UN (August 24).
2010
2009
- Joined GFMD International Advisory Committee.
- After extensive advocacy, the Government officially began observing International Migrants Day on December 18.
2008
- Launched Remittance Utilization, Investment, and Savings Project reaching 35,000 beneficiaries, with a focus on women’s participation.
2007
- Renamed as WARBE Development Foundation.
- Participated in the first Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD).
2006
- Served as Chair of the MFA Executive Committee.
- Co-organized the Diplomacy Training Program on Migration and Human Rights in Bangladesh with RMMRU and MFA.

- Joined the Preparatory Committee for MFA Terms of Reference (ToR).
1998
- Became a member of Migrant Forum in Asia (MFA).
- Initiated national campaign for the ratification of the UN Convention on Migrant Rights (1990). Submitted a memorandum to the Government; Bangladesh signed the Convention in October 1998.
- Led the first observance of December 18 in solidarity with migrants and their families. Continued advocacy until official recognition in 2009.
1997
- Official establishment as Welfare Association of Repatriated Bangladeshi Employees (WARBE) in Bangladesh.
